Learn the art of Special FX Make-Up

Thank you for your interest in our Special FX Make-Up Workshops! DYAD MUFX has been teaching and hosting workshops in Puerto Rico annually since 2014. We are proud to bring this educational opportunity to the island and provide the most in-depth knowledge of FX Make-Up available in Puerto Rico. We offer multiple workshops- each one is focused on a different area of Special FX Make-Up. This year we will be offering 3 different workshops (Intro to SFX Make-Up, Intro to Airbrush and Silicone Prosthetic Making)- you can take them one at a time or all at once! We design the workshops to cater to everyone from beginners to experienced Make-Up Artists. If you are new to make-up, we will break down the process for you from beginning to end. If you are an experienced MUA, we will work with you to help you expand and perfect your skills.

All of our workshops are hands on with all materials provided. We believe that the best way to learn is by doing and the only way to perfect your art is by practicing. Each workshop will have a series of units divided into two sections:

The first section-Niko and Cat will lecture and demonstrate each new technique. The lecture will be accompanied with a power point presentation breaking down each step of the process. The demonstration will be applied on a model in front of the class, showing the students how to execute the new technique.

The second section-students will be given time to practice and perfect each new technique taught in class.

Each workshop is packed with lots of information, tips and tricks. These classes are designed to teach you a variety of techniques so that you learn as much as possible during your time with us. Our goal is to send you home with a basic knowledge on a wide range of topics so that you can create anything you want! All students will receive a certificate of completion after the workshop is done. For any questions, please E-mail: DYADMUFX@gmail.com
